Join in a celebration of diversity, freedom and endurance at the 35th Annual Pride Run, an exciting footrace that travels around scenic Golden Gate Park. Starting at 9AM on Saturday June 28, the Pride Run is one of the most popular LGBT San Francisco events. Participants receive a schwag bag with goodies, plus complimentary refreshments at the finish line. There will also be a Children's Run for 100 meters before the competition, starting at 8:45AM. The race starts near the south entrance of the Golden Gate Park/Soccer Fields at the intersection of Metson Road and Middle Drive (slightly north of the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and Sunset Boulevard). Each loop of the USATF-certified course is 5K, and public transportation is encouraged for everyone attending the race. Registration for the 35th Annual Pride Run costs $30 and must be arranged in advance online, however for spectators it's free to watch and cheer.
