Celebrate Bacon at this San Francisco Beer Festival
What:
Bacon and Beer Classic
Where:
Levi's Stadium
4900 Marie P DeBartolo Way
Santa Clara, CA
When:
February 27th
12-4 pm & 6-10 pm
You'll want to make sure you've got a ride to and from this belt-busting celebration of swine and suds. Just as the name implies, the Bacon and Beer Classic is about two of life's greatest things: bacon, and beer. Their marriage implies a lip-smacking afternoon or evening of indulgence, and while we highly encourage responsible moderation with both, each has a tendency to keep even the strongest of wills coming back for more – especially when you can have as much as you want. That's exactly what you'll find at this heavenly bacon and beer festival in Santa Clara – 3-4 hours of ice cold brews and unabashed, greasy-fingered satisfaction.
Pigs & Pints Abound
Actually, beer tastings are not quite pints, they're 3oz apiece, poured into a nifty souvenir ceramic glass that's included in your admission. A total of over 50 breweries from across the region will be on tap, such as San Francisco's own Anchor Brewing, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, and Laughing Monk Brewing. For trendy cider-heads, there's Wildcide, South City, and Red Branch. Hard Frescos will also be sampling their "buzz"-worthy Mexican sodas. Some of our other favorites are:
- Santa Clara Valley Brewing
- Sonoma Springs Brewing
- Kona Brewing Co.
- Lagunitas
- Oskar Blues
- Ballast Point
- Lost Coast Brewery
- Ninkasi Brewing
- Green Flash
About those Pigs…
Your admission entitles you every bacon-packed offering, from sticky brittles by Sweetdragon Baking Company to Kokio Republic's Korean Kimchi Balls, and Nom Burger's house-ground sliders. More Bay Area chefs are joining the roster every day, so be sure to save room for them all.
