Have a jolly time this Saturday, December 10 at the annual SantaCon pub crawl – a mass gathering of Santas that roams the streets of San Francisco. Beginning at noon at Union Square, this merry event is a worldwide phenomenon. Thousands of people around the world dress up like Santa or their favorite holiday character, then hit the bars of their respective cities to drink, drink, and be merry.
But it started right here in San Francisco – and we do it better than anywhere else! Do you want to join in the fun at SantaCon? All you need is a Santa costume and an adventurous spirit. Be sure to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate for the San Francisco Fire Department Toy Drive.
Show up at Union Square at 12 pm on Saturday, and meet your fellow Santas for a day of bar hopping and holiday merriment. Just remember: be respectful of local businesses, and keep an eye out for "no Santas" signs – some people prefer a quiet holiday to a boisterous crowd from the North Pole.
Are you spending the holidays in the Bay Area? You'll find all kind of fun San Francisco events and attractions, from ice skating rinks and light displays to holiday dining and shopping. Want to know more? Please contact our hotel today.
