North Beach Festival: Food, Music, Crafts, and Italian Street Painting
Now in its 63rd year, the North Beach Festival is one of the top summer street festivals in the Bay Area. Taking place this weekend, June 17 and 18, the festival features all the elements of the classic block party – music, food, and vendors – along with special highlights including Italian Street Painting, a Blessing of the Animals, and a fun chalk art area for kids.
One of San Francisco's Biggest Summer Fairs
Enjoy live music on four stages, including a massive main stage at Broadway and Columbus. Fuel up with gourmet street cuisine from two dozen different food trucks and booths, and shop for unique arts and crafts items from more than a hundred vendors. Pet lovers won't want to miss the Blessing of the Animals, and families will appreciate the chalk art area. And don't miss the Italian street painting – beautiful, temporary artwork that always inspires.
