Beautifully decorated and illuminated boats and yachts will take to the waters of San Francisco Bay this Friday for the 2016 Lighted Boat Parade. Taking place right off Fisherman's Wharf from 6 pm to 8 pm, this festive procession features boats that are all decked out for the holidays. Lights, decorations, carolers, and Christmas characters will all make an appearance at this special holiday event.
The Lighted Boat Parade will begin just off of Pier 39, proceeding west past Fisherman's Wharf, Fort Mason and the St. Francis Yacht Club, and will turn around off of Crissy Field to return along the waterfront. You'll find the best views at Aquatic Park, Pier 39, the Marina Green, and Crissy Field.
Can't make it on Friday? Some of the boats, from the Fisherman's Wharf Fishing Fleet, will stay lit throughout the holiday season. You can see them at Sport Fishing Harbor along Jefferson Street between Jones and Taylor.
Arrive early so that you can dine and shop at Fisherman's Wharf, one of the top attractions of the Bay Area. Would you like to learn more? Please contact us for more information about San Francisco events, lodging at our hotel, and things to do in the area.
